The Kettlebell is a fantastic medium for training. The Kettlebell is not only a ton of fun, but it can supplement your training in a very effective and specific manor. The Kettlebell is a great tool for the beginner athlete. It will teach the athlete how to properly use their legs and hips, and also how important it is to generate force by driving feet into the ground. This, in return, will drive the Kettlebell up, minimizing the use of arms or lower back. This basic understanding can play a huge role, not just in overall Athletic development, but also makes it easier when introducing the athlete to Olympic lifts.

 

 

Furthermore, the Kettlebell is a perfect tool for the individual that is looking to get in shape or looking to shed some fat. I have begun to use the Kettlebells with two clients that are looking to just get in shape with excellent results. Its so easy to explain how to use and you can use it to do just about any form of exercise, but what I find works best is complexes. 

 Complexes are great for getting your heart rate up and burning fat, so whether you’re an athlete or just looking to lose a few pounds, the Kettlebell is a great way to take your training to the next level.
